Tour Description - Pick up guests at the Water Taxi Terminal or The Belize Tourism Village and head west on the George Price Highway for about 1 hour, then turn into the Coastal Highway and travel for about 1.5 hours to CBWS. Arrive at CBWS and check in. Safety briefing at the park. Tour the visitor center. Head into the Tiger Fern Trail making use of rest benches along the trail. Spend some time at the summit for picture taking and rest, then head down to the waterfalls. Spend some time swimming, then return to base. Lunch at the park. On certain occasions, camp at the summit for the overnight.
Prepare for river tubing on the Stann Creek River. Water safety briefing at the park. Gear out-fitting, then head to the put in point. Put into the river and tube down until you reach the take out spot near the park. Exit the river and walk back to the park.
If staying for the overnight, spend the rest of the afternoon visiting other sites or shorter trails or relax in dorms. The following morning, wake up early and enjoy birding around the park on the trails. If not overnighting, head back to Belize City.
